RISE Canine Hydrotherapy & Rehab is a multi-site, family-run centre dedicated to providing expert-led canine hydrotherapy, veterinary physiotherapy, and nurse-led wellness services in Tarleton, Lancashire, and Southport, Merseyside.
Led by Amy, a Registered Veterinary Nurse, our multidisciplinary team comprises Veterinary Physiotherapists, Qualified Hydrotherapists, and a Qualified Behaviourist. Together, we support dogs through recovery, pain management, fitness, and long-term care.
Our comprehensive services include underwater treadmill therapy, swimming sessions, laser therapy, nail clipping, and Emmi-pet dental cleaning. We offer both vet-referral rehabilitation services and direct-book wellness care, ensuring your dog receives the best possible support to lead a healthy and active life.

Specialist Canine Hydrotherapy for Recovery, Mobility & Wellness
We offer professional canine hydrotherapy at our Tarleton clinic, featuring both a heated hydrotherapy swim pool and a state-of-the-art underwater treadmill. Our sessions support dogs with arthritis, post-surgical recovery, weight management, mobility issues, and can also help build fitness, confidence in water, and provide fun, low-impact exercise. All hydrotherapy, whether for rehabilitation or fitness, requires veterinary consent and is delivered by a qualified hydrotherapist. Our Southport clinic will soon offer its own underwater treadmill service, expanding our expert care across both centres.
Our Plans
We offer flexible hydrotherapy membership plans to suit your dog’s needs, whether you're building water confidence, supporting intensive rehabilitation, or maintaining mobility and fitness. Our popular monthly hydro plan includes 8 sessions over 4 weeks for £150 and can be cancelled at any time. We also run a Water Confidence Course (£95 for 5 sessions across 5 weeks), perfect for nervous swimmers, puppies, or dogs new to hydro.
Every plan includes a free pre-hydro consultation to discuss your dog’s needs.
All sessions require veterinary consent and are delivered by a qualified hydrotherapist at our Tarleton clinic, where you can choose the pool or underwater treadmill. Our Southport site will soon offer underwater treadmill therapy, expanding our specialist support across both locations.
We also offer pay-as-you-go sessions starting from £35 per session.

Whether your dog is recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or aiming to improve mobility and performance, we're here to help.
