Canine physiotherapy plays a vital role in restoring mobility

Physiotherapy at RISE

Canine physiotherapy plays a vital role in restoring mobility, managing pain, and supporting recovery following injury, surgery, or the onset of age related conditions. At RISE, our veterinary physiotherapists work closely with referring vets to deliver personalised treatment plans that meet your dog’s individual physical and functional needs.

Why Choose Physiotherapy?

Our physiotherapy sessions are suitable for dogs experiencing:

  • Post-operative recovery (orthopaedic or neurological)

  • Arthritis and degenerative joint disease

  • Muscle weakness, imbalance, or loss of function

  • Reduced mobility, stiffness, or chronic pain

  • Gait abnormalities or coordination issues

  • Injury rehabilitation or reconditioning

Whether your dog is an active pet, working animal, or senior companion, physiotherapy can support improved movement, strength, comfort, and quality of life.

We use a combination of techniques tailored to your dog’s presentation, which may include:

  • Manual therapy and joint mobilisation

  • Therapeutic exercises and proprioceptive training

  • Gait modification and movement re-education

  • Home exercise plans and lifestyle support

  • Integration with hydrotherapy where clinically appropriate

We also offer Class 3B Laser Therapy to support healing, reduce inflammation, and provide drug-free pain relief.
